Syracuse-Onondaga County Planning Agency will invest approximately $200,000 to develop a countywide comprehensive plan to guide economic growth and investment in Onondaga County. The plan will identify the means to strengthen municipal centers and corridors through creative and modern placemaking, protect and conserve rural areas and greenspaces, and plan for an improved quality of life in each and every community. The project's deliverable will be a plan will be inclusive of all municipalities and stakeholders, have broad community support, will be informative and helpful to implementers and clearly and concisely guide decision making at all levels toward quality communities,economic growth, and wise investments for the county's future.
